I have attached what I have for dialsoft. It's only 4.0 and has a keygen with it. Not sure if you want it but here you go.

Yea they say 4.0, but I don't know what the hell that means. Because inside the zip the readme/fileid.diz or whatever says 0.95 and then after it's installed inside WG it says 2.01. So I don't know wtf version it really is. Whatever it is though I have the same one and the shit dun work. Everyone who doesn't have a master key ends up acting like they have no keyring at all.

edit: I don't know where I got the 0.95 from as I don't see that double checking it now, but I remember seeing it somewhere. Possibly in the .rln or something.

I never have ran it other then on my test server, and all the users have master keys. Sorry wasn't better help.

I know there was someone working on plugins maybe we can get him to work on an IP dupe checker.

Alright, so I finally got Dialsoft Control v5.62 registered and simultaneous IP control working. There aren't any issues with the keyrings like in the previous version. HOWEVER... now I've discovered another problem. Every new account that gets created ends up not have any defined screen columns / lines. It's in there as 0/0 which ends up disabling the full-screen editor (mud character screen is line-by-line, for example). Their sex also does not seem to get recorded. I almost wonder if it's not saving any of the sign up information collected into the DB. If I disable control it works fine.

I've been through all of the settings like 20 times over and can't find anything. Obvious settings seem like it would be in the "new user control" but I've disabling everything in there. Anyone experience this?

nvm, firgured it out. There is an option on the 'config' page to specify which field to store the user's IP address in. I chose telephone number. I switched it to country and now it's fine.

So... I know I am late to the party but I have spent the past week plus scouring the internet for this elusive functioning v5.62. It seems to me like I need to give the right person a wink wink or a special handshake. If someone who has access to the said fix/key please PM me, I would be extremely grateful.

I whole heartily apologize to all. I never posted the DLL fix all those years ago.. I just happened to have an itch to bring the BBS back to life. I did not have the DLL myself, but I was able to crawl the dialosft website and find the fix. I just downloaded it and drop it in my WGSERV directory and it works!

However its been a minute and I forget how to fix Access Violation errors? I added control to a menu option and when I go to open it online the system crashes and gives me.
