BTRIEVE CREATE ERROR 25 ON FILE "galssc2.dat"

So FINALLY found a working copy of Trade Wars 2002. Can get the board to load up fine with it etc, yet it crashes when I try to go into the game from the bbs menu. Anywho, now every time i start WG up, I get this popup:

BTRIEVE CREATE ERROR 25 ON FILE "galssc2.dat"


Any ideas? Thanks

I was getting that to until I restarted the machine

Ctrl-Alt-Del, stop wgserver.exe and w32mkde.exe, restart server. This seems to work for a few btrieve errors.

Your Worldgroup is running as a service and is currently active (online).

Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services

and look for "WGS Executable" it may say "Started" - go ahead and stop it and make sure it's set to Manual.

Now you can manually start the server via Start Menu again.
