So I finally got everything installed and can connect to WG login to Majormud, but can't do anything.
I know this might be something simple I'm overlooking. (new to this)
When I hit (e) to enter the realm, I get the line
"Please select your race... ? for help"
but that's it, I don't get the list of races, I can't select anything.
If anyone can give some ideas or advice would love it.

Re: Semi-working board
Only thing I can really say to check is your ansi setting, if you installed globals =a.
Also are you getting locked or can you x out? I would look at reinstall mud, or try an offline recovery. Can you enter other modules say teleconference?

Re: Semi-working board
I checked ansi settings, seems to be working/setup right.
I can hit (x) but thats it, I can't get help info using (?) though, just a blank space.
If I can't figure out soon I'll just do the reinstall just trying to avoid that right now.

It was, I reinstalled everything and its working now.syntax wrote:sounds like empty databases to me.
Now I'm having trouble with the addons, says I don't have them, but I have the codes entered, MOD 1-3 are working fine but can't access anything past that.

Re: Semi-working board
I figured it out thank you everyone for your help.
Another question, how would I edit the race stats (increase by like 20 each)?

Re: Semi-working board
You need an editor to do it. Nightmare is the standard one to use. Check out the forum on here for it.
