This realm will be configured as a Hardcore realm, which means your character has one life permanently and is rerolled with 0% experience retained on death. Your inventory will drop to the ground upon death. It's a unique, interesting twist that will have players rethinking how they approach the game as they weigh risks and rewards. Will you risk it all for glory, or will you proceed with caution?
The realm will use the current content featured on our main annual PVE realm, with a few adjustments to fit the theme such as removing or altering attacks and spells that would have instant kill mechanics. Please note that ParaMUD runs a unified account system, where you log in with one account for each character in the various different realms you choose to play.
If you're a new player, you'll need to join Discord and complete our verification process. Every player must do this to gain full access to the game. We suggest that you start by joining our official discord server here: https://discord.gg/gkUe3VSG9U. You can then follow the verification process listed below and get yourself ready for the Hardcore realm launch!
Paradigm User Verification
Over the years it has become apparent that regardless of our best efforts, players have decided that the
rules don't apply to them. There have been numerous complaints about duping. In an effort to curtail that
behavior, we have decided to implement a verification system.
We are changing how you interact with our Paradigm Telnet Server. You will now use a SINGLE account to log
into the system. You will no longer need to make additional Telnet Accounts to play on different realms.
Each Realm has a Character select and the characters will be tied to your SINGLE account.
You will be required to verify your account. Prior to verification, you will be restricted from leveling
past level 5, you will not be able to gossip, auction, or join broadcast channels.
The process for verification is detailed below.
* Log into Paradigm and complete the new questionairre asking for First Initial/Last Name and Email Address.
* Join our Official Discord Server here https://discord.gg/gkUe3VSG9U
o DM Rhalin to begin the verification process. (Winterhawk is currently on hiatus)
- It is not our intent to deny access to any legitimate player.
- We are willing to work with players who are uncomfortable with this process.
* Once complete, Rhalin will verify your account, which will show as a V in the who list.
