WG crash...TCP/IP BIND error 10013(server port 80)PermDenied
Kinda stuck. I installed everything in XP Mode from a Windows 7 computer and ran the server several times from XP mode. Now I've copied the WGSERV foldeer from the XP virtual machine to the WIndows 7 C:/ drive. Upon running the server, I got a BTRIEVE ERROR 86 error but solved that through the registry. Now I'm getting the tcp/ip bind error and I guess I'm having difficulties with the networking. In the setup of the server, I've got my computer's name as the hostname and I have the ip address as my local host address, with the other 2 fields blank. I was able to successfully run the server this way when I was using XP mode and had the local IP of the virtual machine input. Since moving the files to Win 7, I started the telnet services, and I can also see with a netstat -a that listening is going on, on ports 23 and 80, among others. I've also port forwarded a single port (80) and set up DMZ on my host local IP. I turned off windows firewall and I am using a charter communications modem with a wrt1900ac linksys router. I also disabled the linksys ipv4 firewall just to see if it helped. Any help would be much appreciated.
Re: WG crash...TCP/IP BIND error 10013(server port 80)PermDe
is it win7 pro if not set ip/tcp in setup to auto if win7 pro the prob could be that win7 pro does not have a telnet server least that is what was told by someone that had win7 pro
dmz should handle both telnet and port 80 so take port forwarding out make sure dmz is pointing to correct computer

disable all the unused wg mods, the webserver is your bind port 80 problem.clanier9 wrote:Kinda stuck.
