Perfect example of a subpar sysop here. "I turned off pvp to get rid of the troublemakers"? No, if that was true you would have just turned off pvp, not announced it and then left it on for 3 days and then tried to label anyone that killed anyone during that time a trouble maker. If it was such a big deal to kill anyone, why leave it on? Lemme guess, it was just too much stress for you to turn it off right away? Required too much effort from you? The fact of the matter is you couldn't make up your mind about what you wanted to do, you were constantly flipping rules on the board to suit your own interests. The whole turning off pvp thing didn't happen until the first time your chars were attacked, then suddenly you wanted to turn off pvp. If the board ever accepts new users again and you're not in the sysops group of brown nosed friends, don't bother playing here. Anything you say to her will cause her to "stress out and be forced to drink" even if it's only something like "hey, you said you made this change but you missed something" or whatever.

We've been having a glorious time since the pvp went away. New chars and everything. Just not troublemakers. Make all the excuses you want, like I said I did what I had to do.

I could care less about the pvp going away. That's not what bothers me and obviously you're too incompetent to understand that. What bothered me was the way you went about the pvp thing, jerk people around, make them alter things, then swing your decisions to the other side and expect them to alter things again. I'm sure you and the 2 people you actually did stuff for are having a glorious time together, but there were some of us who tried to play by your changes that you just constantly screwed over with out a care. Like how you said drop a char and you'd race/class change the other two, so people go through and set up their chars to be changed, then the day you said you'd have everything done people log in to find not only had their chars not been changed, but now they could keep the one they'd sold everything for because you said you were going to delete those accounts. Be ignorant and live in denial all you want, like I said, worse sysop to ever host a board.

It seems like there's a rash of horrid sysops lately; maybe I should just step away from the scene for awhile.

Let me give all sysops some wisdom. You, the sysop, should never ever even be called in to question about absolutely anything in a majormud realm. If you are, there's already a red flag, regardless.

I have to agree somewhat to this line. Yes you shouldn't be the #1 on the board, or have the best gear. But at the same time You should have the firepower to help people. I'm not #1 on the board but at the same time my 2 can usually help anyone get out of a bad spot. And people need to know who you are and that your there to help.

I haven't said much with all these recent issues with people bitching about sysop's. Cause the real truth is it's there board and they can run it how they like. If it's crappy they wont have any users. And it was hard to refrain from doing a self promotion on them too.

But the simple fact is there are two type of server admins. The type that run a server for their use. And the type that run a server for others to use. Ask your self which one are you?

My chars are #7, 8 on top 10. I could care less about it. Just keep bitching about it. I got rid of the undisreables and its been better since. Now I have time to reflect on edits for higher levels to keep interest in the game. Go complain somewhere else, I hear Lostways BBS or w/e is always looking for ppl even if you have 10 chars.

Just so you know I was agreeing with you. It's your board to run the way you want. The users count will tell you if it's a good or bad board.
