Installing MajorMud on windows 7 64bits
Got the files, installed worldgroup 3.30 without too much problems but I can't install MajorMud. Tried setting a virtual machine with Windows XP sp3 but the setup couldn't run. Uncompressed the file in C:, a worldgroup and a WCC folder, didn't work more. Searched the forums but couldn't find any more ideas. Someone has a way to make it work?

I posted this on facebook. You just unzip it to your wgserv directory and then do your code.

Leaving this here for reference sake. Usually the reason the setup program will not run is because it is a remnant of the MSDOS filesystem days where everything was 8.3 spec (XXXXXXXX.XXX), therefore if you are trying to install from a "long filename" directory in Windows it will fail.
To remedy, simply extract the MajorMUD setup files into an 8.3 acceptable directory (example: C:\WCCMMUD) then run the setup and it should execute just fine.
