stone to flesh

So, my warrior gets hit with a partial petrification spell by a Gorgon. My priest tries to cast STON (stone to flesh)... uses the mana, but nothing happens.

Did you notice if the stone to flesh spell removed? sometimes spell have an effect without any wording. For example the black flail when you use it raises your mres correctly but does not tell you it did so.

It did nothing. The effect (gorgon breath, which is partial petrification) was still present even though the mana was spent and the spell "cast" (although the only way I knew it was cast was because the mana disappeared)
