Remote Control to Board / Teamviewer causing lag spike

Anyone experience users getting lagged when remote controlling into the board? Using teamviewer sometimes users get lagged for 2-3 seconds when I connect. Sometimes 1-2 users will get booted (even myself has before from my local LAN). I've set the WG/Btrieve process to have a higher CPU priority (permanently) and set teamviewer not to use port 80, even though that shouldn't matter 'cause I have all of WG's web stuff disabled. Just wondering if any one else has seen this, knows a work around, or what software others use. I may try chrome remote desktop just to see.

I hate to state the obvious, but how is your upload / download speeds, from what I have read about teamviewer it is a massive resource hog on your bandwidth. I suspect it's going to be like that for any remote desktop applications.
This link has some tips on optimizing the settings.

Hope it helps some.

70mb upload/download, plus it disconnects me from my own LAN sometimes (gigabit connection). I'll check out the link though.
