So I am nearing 100 Runic in my bank. Maybe that's not a lot. But is there ever a point that collecting gold would just not be worth it or necessary?

Four banks (Godfrey/Khaz, Rhudar, Lost, Arlysia) X 420ish runic max in each = 1680 runic. After that point, you're stuck carrying it if you want more.
Other than items in shops, the only expensive thing is doing the trainer(s) for endgame . Been a decade since I did those, so can't even tell you off top of my head which is more expensive easy or hard, but there's a key that's pricey, and is one time use.

Where are these two trainers? I've read the hard trainer really is that. And I've heard the easy trainer referenced before. Any clues how to locate them?
