Song of a Bard - Wulalowe Silvermane

Post by Rothchild »

This is a poem from an ancient parchment, item #1566. Dead cat from Rhudaur sewers as a weapon is always humorous.
Oh hidy didy didy di, Oh hidy didy didy day
Gather round and you shall hear, About a man who show no fear
Killian the smallest brave, A Halfling, who went to save
A beautiful maiden in distress, Captured by the dragons breath
Oh hidy didy didy di, Oh hidy didy didy day
He laughed and scoffed at them all, "A dragon? Ha, they're not so tall.
Those dragons there, they not be so tough, I'll go dispatch them in the buff!"
Oh hidy didy didy di, Oh hidy didy didy day
With dead cat in hand and spring of step, He dropped his things and off he leapt
No cheering crowd did see him go, No leering maidens did even show
Oh hidy didy didy di, Oh hidy didy didy day
The arduous trek it took him far, Trough hazy swamp and scorching tar
When scorching tunnel at least he met, A small young dragon, his pants he wet
And stealthily he snuckith by, Hoping for a smaller fry
Oh hidy didy didy di, Oh hidy didy didy day
A few others he did pass, Along his trek among the flaming mass
While searching for the maiden loss, He found their mother, the big red boss
With flailing cat he did swing, But alas he forgot the important thing
It's not the swiftness of the toes, It's all the strength of the foes
Oh hidy didy didy di, Oh hidy didy didy day
