Hello everyone, long time mudder here, finally decided to experiment with learning how to do my own edits so i've hosted my own bbs, currently running majormud v 1.11p with the MudRevolution edit addition. As of right now there isn't any unique content as i'm still learning to edit, so this is my project and input/ideas/feedback is much appreciated from anyone who would like to make a character, and especially from anyone with a creative mind who would like to help brainstorm names, ideas, etc to help make it more genuine. All are welcome regardless. The telnet is esoteric-edits.crabdance.com (for now anyways). Death is currently set to like -20k, pvp is off for now (can change if people request), etc. Totally open to suggestions to make the realm more enjoyable to play so feel free to come and input your two cents

Update: got sys map working for all users, and globals are now installed, also got the help files working as they were missing before.. Looking for some more stable players, got a few so far but really would like to see a few more people come. Also if anyone knows where to get any other doors games or wants me to host some lemme know i'm more than happy to do my best to host those also.

Since MMB is down (for good?), what are the mudrev edits?
I've never played on a mudrev board before and there is a ton of stuff it seems and I couldnt find much just searching google... can anyone list some general stuff that mudrev boards have? or a webpage that lists it?

Mudrev is a massive edit, on my board you will find the most up to date dat file export for MME so you can browse the edits yourself, as well as a zip file link to most of the paths in the game. I am currently working on adding new content, and would love to get some new users as it is becoming stagnant since it has not been reset in awhile. Reset is a possibility if enough people come and request it.

Just wanted to drop in here and let everyone know that I have decided that finally, as things are becoming rather stale, I will be resetting my realm (esoteric-edits.crabdance.com) in approximately a month. May enable PVP before reset if anyone cares to mess around briefly as per demand and optionally after the reset too if desired. Not sure on exact reset date but will try to remember to come post it up here when I decide, otherwise you can come mess around/prepare if you desire further information. Thanks, and hope someone's still out there =)

You should have pvp enabled before and after the reset. Probably around 20 levels for Mudrev.

I have decided that the reset will happen on next Friday (9/20/13) sometime shortly after I get off work (around 7PM CST most likely, assuming no problems). If anyone has any specific questions, just log on.

I haven't changed it yet, i'm doing a test reset tonight just to make sure everythings good for tomorrow.. so I guess whoever has input before I do the real reset will ultimately decide. I'll have to see whatever the active players want, ultimately. I hardly have time to play right now, so I could care less either way.

reset succesful. pvp did end up getting enabled, however it is set to 10 levels. death is now set to -150 accordingly.
