not sure if this is the best place to put this but here goes. I keep coming up with these btrieve errors same one different files. Btrieve open error 87 on file... this time the file is wbbshop2.dat last time it was wdduser2.dat. I believe these are the files that are created from the vir files when you do a reset. Last time I rolled it back a day and it was fine. I have noticed this has happens when BBS has been shut down incorrectly. The first time the power went out to the house and the second time one of the kids unplugged the router by mistake. Anyone know anything about this? I don't recall this happening any other time something like that has happened. I hate to keep rolling things back a day or 2 every time this happens is there a better fix?

Had an epiphany about 10 seconds after last post. Checked task manager to see if W32MKDE.EXE was still running and it was. Ended process in task manager and boom everything fires back up all good and normal. Had this problem before (can't remember why) and ending that fixed it. Just thought I would share in case anyone else has it. Apparently worldgroup gets all pissy if that is running and thinks you are trying to run 2 instances or something so says hell no I'm not doing it.
