Re: Scripting clients...
Does anyone out there use Zoc? Would it be worth my time I mean, if I started work on a script for it?
I have found but one basic script in my collection for Zoc below. I'm sure you can edit it to your needs and enhance it with your knowledge. Send me a copy of whatever you make to add to my ...
Re: Contests
Well I think they left it open for sysops to do what they want as far as handing out prizes and what not. I actually haven't gone farther into it from what I showed you. I'm using a different system right now because my other operating system decided it didn't want to work anymore and I got tired of ...

Re: Yellow Crits
If I'm ever going to figure out about the yellow crits I'm going to need some concrete information. I doubt any of the versions of mmud for wg3 ever had it at one point and are in the mbbs/wg2 versions, but yet I'm still getting red crits everywhere I've looked. I thought I'd get more help on this ...

Re: Contests
One last note: When the contest enabled it creates a file called WCCCNTST.FLG - It's just a flag file for mud saying a contest is in progress, works just like when mud needs a recovery next bootup and creates WCCRECOV.FLG file.
When a contest is ongoing then you can check the progress of the contest ...

Re: Yellow Crits
I remember when they took it out because I was disappointed that they changed it and I remember other changes they made around that time too like they changed the pull lever near mad wizard so you could use it on another player anymore(that one was fun and also a victim of it lol), you couldn't sell ...
Re: Dodge
Ya I understand that, but there has to be a base number where they all share the same value. A starting point if you must say. I was curious if there was anything of the sort knowing that there probably isn't since there are to many factors involved.
Re: Contests
What the contest is that the contest is having to collect 20 or so glowing runes from anywhere around the realm. What the offline utility does is you can either have the 20 or glowing runes be hidden or just sitting in the rooms for the players to find. Also the rooms are picked at random and could ...

Re: MajorMUD Editing
It's actually each monster is assigned a control index which is part of a control group. Rooms are then assigned a control group which house the control index's of what mob spawns in that room and what doesn't. So how many rooms that span the area with that control group is how far the monster can ...
Re: Dodge
Do players start out level 1 with a accuracy base other than the new stats you've added to your character? Like most monsters have a accruacy base anywhere around 85-100 for the most part and it gets higher for the harder monsters. Like I already know what a monster would be swinging at me, but how ...
