Druid vs Shaman experience rates?

Hi:
Wasn't sure if this was general MudRev question or specific to BearFathers BBS.
Comparing and contrasting Druid and Shaman, why are Shamans at 200% experience where Druids are 125%?
According to the database from BF site, Druid is better in every category, save for them both having Druid-3 spells and the same HP per-level range.
Am I missing something?
