Dos and Don'ts od map editing

Post by BearFather »

So I'm getting to making custom map area's. And was wondering if there any experience people out there with a few tips for me. So far I have learned to keep the map numbers to standard ones.

Thanks

Just learning myself, but another thing I've been told is you can't skip numbers when making rooms, else cleanup won't hit them. That's why buffer rooms are sometimes used, to fill any gaps between sections so it's continuous.

Ahh well that's a helpful tip. Since I put my room # high on the chain....guess I know what that room padding command is for now.
