GosLink Chat Client

Post by BearFather »

This is a small java client to connect to a GosLink enabled server and gossip with your friends and family in the realm. This small client will tap into a GosLink bot and use the webchat feature and allow you to gossip away while away from your Mega's.

This is the first version of the client, it has been tested a little on my board with my players. Please let me know if you find any issues with the client. Or hell got a request for a new feature.

The sysop of the board you want to connect to must enable webchat and open the port (default 3000). After verifying with the sysop for the goslink server address and port, telepath the bot in your realm "@reg help" to get started on creating an account.

Sysops:
You must be running GosLink3 version 1.7 or later
Set webbot=true(or check in gui)
Allow connections to port 3000(or value you have changed it to)

Choose the version that matches what your board runs:
