Give Codec of Twinks to other accounts? + Edit Keys

Post by Necrosaro420 »

Is there a way to give codec of twinks to other accounts except for the main sysop account? Will be helpful in editing to be able to give several characters it.

Figured it out. Think it was the SUPER key.

But I do have another question. What file is it stored in, that you can edit keys for Mud? Since I can add the SUPER key, maybe change/hex that to CODEC key or something?

You need wccmmud.ini file. Search on here for it, there's a whole thread talking about how to set it up.

Yeah, but I mean like, what file is the actual key stored in? I know the ini is to give certain abilities etc. I am talking about which majormud file states that the Super/Master key is specifically needed to use coded of twinks.

As in which dll? I would thing it would be wccmmud.dll that would have it. Or you talking about what setting? That would be in security and auditing settings if there is one, I don't recall ever seeing it.

EDIT:
You could check in wccmmud.h but you would need to open it up in a hex editor.

Also wccmmud.msg is all the settings that you would find in the WG menu's.
