Yea, that makes sense. Nature's Kiss would be a little over powered but something equivalent to what Paladin's get in greater healing.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with missionaries easily outdamaging rangers, rangers are combat-4 and missionaries are combat-3 if I remember correctly.
