Effects of Charm, Level, and Enc on dodge %

-Some effects of charm, testing some truths and myths
-This also reveals some of the effects of lvl and enc % on dodge

Part 1: Charm & Level Vs. Dodge %

I made a test char (human warrior) with 0 ac, no items or abilities, no weapon, etc, but with unlimited hps and hpregen, I started with 50 charm at level 25, this is fighting a single monster that never dies with 150 accuracy and only one melee attack hitting 6x/round. All other stats were 50 at all times, no other variables other than charm and level, I was light at 30% enc all the time, except where notated to take a peek at enc% effects. Each test ran for at least a few hours to stabilize the results, getting pounded nonstop 6x a round by one monster with only
one attack makes that happen pretty quickly, although the margin of error is always +/- 1% in mega unless you run it for a week.

lvl 25/50 charm vs 150 acc: 6% dodge
lvl 25/80 charm vs 150 acc: 9% dodge
lvl 25/120 charm vs 150 acc: 14% dodge
lvl 50/50 charm vs 150 acc: 8% dodge
lvl 50/80 charm vs 150 acc: 12% dodge (13% with none (15%) enc)
lvl 50/120 charm vs 150 acc: 16% dodge
lvl 75/50 charm vs 150 acc: 12% dodge
lvl 75/80 charm vs 150 acc: 15% dodge (14-15% with none (15%) enc)
lvl 75/120 charm vs 150 acc: 19% dodge

Retested a couple of the above on the same mob but with only 75 accuracy-

lvl 25/120 charm vs 75 acc: 28% dodge (half the acc double the dodge %)
lvl 50/80 charm vs 75 acc: 24% dodge (half the acc double the dodge %)
lvl 75/50 charm vs 75 acc: 24% dodge (half the acc double the dodge %)

Results:

(1) charm affects dodge a fair amount, so does level.
(2) dodge in relation to monsters accuracy is very linear and predictable, ie
double the monsters accuracy, twice the dodge % is needed to achieve the
same % of dodge. Half the monsters accuracy will yield double your dodge %.
(3) the difference between 30% (light) enc, and 15% (none) enc was pretty small to
non-existent. So there is less of a bonus there as we all thought, but there
probably are losses or penalties for heavy (and perhaps medium). I didn’t test
that at this time.

The data really cant be used to calculate an exact formula of how charm affects dodge the main reason being that mega calculates dodge % after miss rate, along with too many other factors, but this will give you a pretty good idea of the bonuses.
