You need to patch/crack/hack your dll to allow much of the editing to work (mainly additions to the game and not so much alterations to it).

They probably intended on, or at least wanted the possibility to create a druid-2 class down the line. Remember that a druid-1 can learn all of druid-2 and druid-3 (provided they can obtain the scrolls to do so). The magery level also effects things like mana regen (and spell power? or something els...

You cannot add a new magery. The only thing you can do is make a new set of spells tied to whichever existing magery you want, and then class-restrict all of the scrolls for the entire magery appropriately so that only certain classes can learn the spells.
