Smash seems to work okay now. I think that fixed it.

I verified it is wccmmud.dll that has those hex entries. I'm making the edits now. Reminds me of when I used game genie codes back in the day. Whoever manages that wiki should put the file name under the "Hex Edits" part. That the changes have to be made to wccmmud.dll in the WGSERV folder...

Nope I didn't know I had to edit a DLL. Would you happen to know the name of the file?
Is it something I can do in notepad? I also have HxD hex editor if I need to use that.

I added a custom class and edited the smash quest to give it to my new class. I can complete the quest as my new class and then sys goto newhaven and smash a rat or slime or whatever. But about 1 or 2 minutes later it says I don't know the first thing about smashing. So it's giving me the ability, b...

I have Dialsoft 4.0 so that makes sense. Thanks for letting me know. I think I will keep using it because I just want something to control IP dupes and it should be doing that, and I have worked around the key issues. I cleared the playkey and savekey for majormud under security and accounting. My test account can log in and enter the game now. I also got sys goto working using a WCCMUD.ini file with blank entries for sys goto and sys map. The other sys powers have keys and users can't use other stuff like sys li...

I poked around in Dialsoft and didn't see anything that would limit the user class. But it has a lot of screens and I might be missing something. Now I'm having the same problem in Security & Accounting for the entries PLAYKEY, SAVEKEY, and such under WCCMMUD. I tried the NORMAL key and that didn't work. I gave the USER class a new key called MUD and changed all the relevant entries in Security & Accounting to MUD and I still couldn't...
